Next week's release of Amy, the documentary covering the life and death of Amy Winehouse, might be the last glimpse of the troubled star that fans get. Her longtime producer Salaam Remi just revealed that he destroyed all traces of her final recordings.

Remi, who worked with Winehouse on her hit singles "Stronger Than Me" and "Tears Dry on Their Own," told Billboard that the unfinished recordings will never see the light of day. "It was a moral thing," he said. "Taking a stem or a vocal is not something that would ever happen on my watch. It now can't happen on anyone else's."

However, Remi did give the Amy filmmakers a brief recording of the "Rehab" songstress reciting the lyrics to an unreleased song titled "You Always Hurt the Ones You Love."

Winehouse's last release was a collection of unreleased songs, titled Lioness: Hidden Treasures, released in 2011 only months after her death.

Amy will hit select theaters worldwide July 10.
