Another bison attacked occurred in Yellowstone Park on Tuesday after a woman turned her back on the animal and tried to take a selfie.
CNN noted that the latest victim was a 43-year-old woman from Mississippi, who tried to take a photo with her daughter of bison in the background.
The National Park Service said that the mother and daughter were only about six yards away from the beast when it attacked.
"They heard the bison's footsteps moving toward them and started to run, but the bison caught the mother on the right side, lifted her up and tossed her with its head," the park service said in a statement on Wednesday.
She was treated at a nearby clinic for minor injuries.
As previously reported, there have been several other bison attacks at the park in recent months. This attack is the fifth.
These attacks highlight the dangers of getting too close to the wild animals. Visitors are asked to stay at least 25 yards away from the wildlife.
