Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth have taken over the music charts with their tribute "See You Again" and now the song is getting the country treatment. Carrie Underwood performed a mashup for her hit single "See You Again" with Khalifa's hit last night.
Underwood sang the mashup at the Big Barrel Country Music Festival in Dover, Delaware, MTV reported. She performed the vocals originally done by Puth and the rap by Khalifa. Halfway through the rap Underwood misses a few of the lyrics but still gives a fun and energetic rendition of the emotional song. Underwood seamlessly transitions back into her 2012 hit "See You Again" off of her Blown Away album.
The video of the performance was posted by a concert goer.
Covers of "See You Again" have been taking over the Internet, including an acapella version sang by Furious 7 star Vin Diesel during the MTV Movie Awards. As previously reported, "See You Again" has already become the fast selling one of 2015 and the Furious 7 soundtrack broke records across the charts.
Amazing "see you again" mash up!
