Birdman just filed a $50 million lawsuit against Jay Z.

Birdman's Cash Money Records is suing Jay's music service Tidal for streaming Lil Wayne's latest album, FWA, according to TMZ.

Cash Money is claiming that it has the exclusive rights to Lil Wayne's music and that Tidal is acting as "an illegal intermeddler." In the lawsuit, Cash Money states that Tidal is making a "desperate and illegal attempt to save their struggling streaming service."

Tidal says that Wayne himself gave it the right to stream his music in exchange for an ownership stake in the streaming service, which is likely what the rapper was referring to when he told fans last month that he signed a deal with Jay Z.

Cash Money Records' lawsuit against Tidal follows Lil Wayne's own $51 million lawsuit against the record label. As we reported in January, Wayne filed the suit in an attempt to leave his contract with his longtime label.
