Two months after first being linked to the project, Chris Pine has signed on to star as Steve Trevor in Warner Bros.’ Wonder Woman solo movie.

Technically, it’s not officially official since the studio still hasn’t announced it, but TheWrap reported Tuesday night that the deal closed. The Star Trek star was first linked to Wonder Woman on May 27.

Steve Trevor is a U.S. Army officer who crashes his plane on Paradise Island during World War II and meets the Amazons. He also meets Diana, who leaves Paradise Island to become Wonder Woman. TheWrap notes that the deal does include future DC Comics movies.

Gadot will first appear as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in March. Her solo movie, which will be directed by Patty Jenkins, will hit theaters on June 23, 2017. Jason Fuchs (Pan) wrote the script.

Pine is still hard at work on Star Trek Beyond and has Z For Zacharia, The Finest Hours and Comancheria all on the docket. He also has an appearance in Netflix’s Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp.
