Thought you were a Chiptle lover? You probably don’t love it as much as Mark Rantal from Colorado Springs, CO, who has eaten it every day for 106 days and doesn’t plan on stopping.
Everyday, Rantal eats lunch there, sometimes alone and sometimes with a friend.
“The whole thing was totally an accident. On Monday I decided to get Chipotle and on Tuesday I made the same decision, then got lunch with my friend there on Wednesday,” he told ABC News. “We laughed about it at lunch and he asked how long I thought I could go. And that began the thought.”
Before he knew it, it had been a month and the milestones kept getting easier. Plus, he’s fostered such great relationships with the staff that they give him a free meal once out of every ten visits.
“Every time I hit a milestone it was very easy and convenient to imagine hitting the next,” he said, saying it’s now just “convenient and it’s a habit.”
What’s even more incredible is that Rantal gets the same order every time he goes - a burrito bowl with white rice, pinto beans, fajitas, sofritas, mild salsa, corn, medium salsa, cheese and lettuce with a bag of chips and a cup of water, People reports.
On Facebook he celebrated the milestone by posing in front of a Chipotle with a candle in his burrito, writing, "Yesterday was my 100th day in a row eating Chipotle! I'm currently doing a Reddit AMA (ask me anything) and am on the subreddit's front page behind a biological warfare specialist, the New Horizons team looking at Pluto, and Sir Ian McKellan! Head over and ask me somethin."
