Foo Fighter’s frontman, Dave Grohl, isn’t letting his broken leg get in his way of having a good time onstage.

Grohl broke his leg during a show in Gothenburg, Sweden in June. According to the Berkshire Eagle, the former Nirvana drummer told the AP, “these have been the best shows the Foo Fighters have ever done. I think because of this situation and because of the challenge of just getting onstage to do the shows, the shows are more passionate, they’re more energetic.”
When Grohl broke his leg onstage he refused to end the show early and continued to play as the EMTs but a cast on him. The band cancelled two shows initially, and ended up having to nix the beginning of their European tour. The group resurfaced in America on July 4th for a show in Washington D.C..
Grohl told the AP, “I like my job. I got a broken leg but I’m still on the road because I love it.”
The Foo Fighters have concerts scheduled through November.
