Not much can stop Dave Grohl from taking the stage with the Foo Fighters, not even a broken leg. The band returned to the stage on July 4th for a performance at RFK Stadium in Washington. Despite his injury, Grohl took to the stage sitting on a custom made rock 'n' roll throne.
The throne, which appeared to be inspired by Game of Thrones, featured guitars instead of swords and a large Foo Fighters symbol placed behind the rock 'n' roll seat. The band posted images of the unique performance on their Facebook page, thanking fans for coming out.
This performance marked the 20th anniversary of the band's self-titled album debut.

As previously reported, Grohl was injured during a show back in early June in Sweden. He ended up breaking his fibula. As a result of his injury, the band had to cancel a large portion of their European tour. The Foo Fighters also had to cancel a headlining spot at Glastonbury after the injury.
