The town of Springfield and The Simpsons’ will no longer be the only ones who will get to drink Duff Beer.

The Wall Street Journal reported that people who sell beer have been trying to make a mark in the fictional brand by making it real, but Fox refused. However, the network itself is going to make the beer themselves beginning in Chile. Eventually, they plan on marketing the beer to Europe and South America.

They have been working with a brewmaster to make sure the taste is perfect and are going to make sure the packaging won’t make it obvious that it is a nod toward The Simpsons’.

As for getting Duff to the U.S., Jeffrey Godsick president of Fox’s consumer product division, said, “I think there’s potential to have Duff everywhere in the world.”

Time reported that the label for the brew will simply mimic the cans and bottles that can be seen on the long-running show. Chile appears to have been chosen as the first spot for the brew, as there have been illegal copies of the brand made in that particular market.

When describing the taste of the brew, Godsick said, “It’s got a hint of fruit to it. It’s got a caramel aromatic to it.”
