A new trailer for Spectre was released this morning and is the best way to wake you up on a work day. Filled with action, explosions and intrigue, it doesn’t look like James Bond is taking anything easy after Skyfall.
The new trailer runs two and a half minutes, taking us through the many wonderful locations used during filming. We see Bond testing his sniper skills in Mexico City and his womanizing skills in Rome with Lucia Sciarra (Monica Bellucci). While in London, Bond (Daniel Craig in his fourth 007 film) has to find Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux), the daughter of nemesis Mr. White (Jesper Christensen). He also discovers a dangerous connection between him, the secret organization called Spectre and his main enemy, played by a chilling Christoph Waltz.
The film also stars Ben Whishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Ralph Fiennes as M and Andrew Scott as Max Denbigh.
Sony and MGM released the trailer shortly after a USA Today story gave a look at the film’s four leading ladies. Stephanie Sigman rounds out the quartet.
Spectre was also directed by Sam Mendes, who also helmed Skyfall. As EW notes, Mendes told a BBC radio show that it will be his last Bond film.
Spectre hits theaters in the U.S. on Nov. 6.
