A full-length trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 was finally released this morning from Lionsgate. Running just over two minutes, the trailer should be enough to get us excited for the final chapter in the saga, as if we weren’t already waiting impatiently for November.
The new trailer amps up the drama and action, as we see Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence, try to take her fight straight to President Snow (Donald Sutherland). There’s also some words of wisdom from Peeta (Josh Hutcherson).
“If you end all of this, all those deaths... they mean something,” Peeta tells Katniss.
Mockingjay - Part 2 finishes off Lionsgate’s four-film adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games trilogy and hits theaters on Nov. 20. Last year, Mockingjay - Part 1 grossed $752 million worldwide.
Like Catching Fire and Mockingjay - Part 1, the final film was also directed by Francis Lawrence. The cast also includes Julianne Moore, Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Elizabeth Banks, Jena Malone, Woody Harrelson and Stanley Tucci. It features the final performance from the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.
