Just about every original cast member is on board for the Netflix Full House revival except for the Olsen twins, but now it sounds like there's still some chance they could appear.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos said at the Television Critics Association press tour that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are still considering joining the new show.

“The Olsen twins are teetering [on] whether or not they’ll be around,” Sarandos said. “There’s a bunch of opportunity for them if they choose to."

If the Olsens did sign on, it would probably have to be for a relatively small role, as production for Fuller House has commenced with no sign of the twins. Presumably the show will offer some quick explanation as to where Michelle is, leaving open an opportunity for the character to return towards the end of the season. Back in May, John Stamos said he was heart-broken that Mary-Kate and Ashley wouldn't be joining the cast, as we previously reported.

Sarandos also said Netflix was interested in the series because of its cross-generational appeal, and he said that the new show will be very much in the same spirit as the original.

Photos from the set of Fuller House were recently posted online showing the cast reunited at last, as we previously reported. The new Netflix series will consist of 13 episodes and premiere in 2016.
