13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi might be a different type of movie from Transformers director Michael Bay, but it still features explosions and plenty of shots fired. The film isn’t scheduled to come out until January, but Paramount dropped the first trailer last night.

The film, which was originally titled just 13 Hours, is based on the book by Mitchell Zuckoff on the events in Benghazi, Libya on Sept. 11, 2012. An American diplomatic mission was attacked, leading to the deaths of four Americans, including Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens. However, a group of men tried to save the lives of other Americans and the film tells their story.

The cast includes John Krasinski (who is better known for comedic turns and his role in The Office), Dominic Fumusa, James Badge Dale, Toby Stephens and Pablo Schreiber. The script was written by Chuck Hogan (The Town, The Strain) and the film was produced by Erwin Stoff.

Paramount has scheduled the film for Jan. 15, 2016. That’s likely in the hope that the film will do as well as American Sniper and Lone Survivor, which both did well on the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
