MTV announced the nominees for the 2015 Video Music Awards, giving Taylor Swift another chance to win a handful of awards. However, it won’t be easy because her competition includes Ed Sheeran, Beyonce and many others.
The nominees were announced just hours after MTV confirmed that Miley Cyrus will host the show. It is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 30.
As usual, fans can pick their favorites at MTV.com. It won’t be easy for many, especially in the Video of the Year category. The nominees in the top prize are Beyonce’s “7/11”; Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud”; Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk”; Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” and Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright.” Lamar is actually nominated twice in the category, since he’s also featured on “Bad Blood.”
