Commuters traveling on Interstate 95 in West Haven, Connecticut got a real sight on their way to work on Tuesday morning when they spotted a naked man sitting on top of his car.
The man was sitting on the roof of his car, wearing no clothes, in the middle of the morning rush hour. Of course, curious people slowed down to see if their eyes were failing them or not and police eventually reported to the scene after multiple people reported it in.
Both southbound lanes between exits 42 and 41 on I-95 were blocked off after the man was taken into custody, NBC Connecticut reports.
It’s been confirmed by State police spokesman Trooper Kelly Grant that the man was taken to a nearby hospital and not the police precinct. He was taken to a medical facility for evaluation, The AP reports.
As for commuters, they were able to get by on the right shoulder, though traffic delays were sure to be frustrating.
