Nick Cave's 15-year-old son, Arthur Cave, died on Wednesday.

BBC News noted that according to Sussex Police, the teenage boy died after a fall from a cliff in Brighton. He was found with life-threatening injuries on the underpass of Ovingdean Gap.

The teen was taken to the Royal Sussex Hospital. However, the 60-foot drop was too much for him and he died shortly after.

Cave's death is not suspicious, according to the police.

Australian musician Nick Cave and his wife, model Susie Bick, released a statement confirming their son's tragic death.

The family, along with the boy's twin brother, are currently paying tribute to their loss.

"Our son Arthur died on Tuesday evening. He was our beautiful, happy loving boy," the couple said. "We ask that we be given the privacy our family needs to grieve at this difficult time."

The elder Cave is a singer and songwriter, who is best known for his band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
