Two Argentinian airline pilots were fired and could face criminal charges for taking some selfies and video with a sexy model in the plane’s cockpit mid-flight.
Austral Lineas Aereas said it terminated Patricio Zocchi Molina and Federico Matias Soaje last week after playboy model Viky Xipolitakis posted selfies in the cockpit with the pilots on her Twitter account.
ABC News noted that video obtained by local media showed the men explaining the different controllers and functions of the aircraft to Xipolitakis as they were flying with 36 passengers on board.
After they were fired, the model was banned from flying on the airline for five years. She has since apologized for the incident.
"I sincerely and wholeheartedly did not imagine I could cause this much damage," she tweeted in Spanish. "With respect to the extraordinary flight, being there was an unforgettable and beautiful experience, I never thought there would be this much fuss.”
The three could face criminal charges and the pilots could ultimately lose their licenses.
