Jennifer Lawrence has gotten a chance to work with some great directors already and Richard Linklater could be up next if Sony gets their wish. The studio is reportedly considering the Boyhood filmmaker to helm The Rosie Project.

The news was first reported by Deadline, which claims that Linklater is only a “frontrunner” at this point.

The project came together earlier this month when Lawrence was attached. It is based on the novel by Graeme Smith and centers on a genetics professor searching for his perfect woman. He meets Rosie Jarman (Lawrence), who doesn’t meet any of his qualifications, but they still fall in love.

(500) Days of Summer team Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber wrote the script. Sony initially thought Phil Lord and Christopher Miller could direct, but they can’t direct everything. (Lord and Miller opted to helm a Star Wars Han Solo movie instead.)

Linklater’s most recent film was Boyhood, which was nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars. His next film, Everybody Wants Some will hit theaters on April 15, 2016. The Dazed and Confused director was also in talks for Where’d You Go Bernadette, which is coincidentally also written by Neustadter and Weber.
