The start of San Diego Comic-Con is just a couple of days away and the attendees who manage to get into the Star Wars: The Force Awakens panel will be hoping to see some more footage. However, Lucasfilm and Disney will probably disappoint them.
Entertainment Weekly spoiled a panel that will likely not feature any eye-opening spoilers for a movie we’ll all see anyway in December. The magazine reports that there will be no new trailer shown off for Comic-Con attendees, since another trailer won’t be out until the fall. That means that the trailer from Star Wars Celebration is all we will have until then.
The Force Awakens panel will still include appearances from director J.J. Abrams, writer Lawrence Kasdan and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy. Chris Hardwick is hosting and there will likely be at least a couple members from the cast.
While there won’t be any new trailers, there will still be several Star Wars panels on Friday to keep fans happy.
Comic-Con starts on Thursday and runs through Sunday. The Force Awakens hits theaters on Dec. 18.
