Taylor Swift is expanding her “Style,” across the globe.
The 25-year-old singer has been subject to counterfeiters in China, who are selling unauthorized Swift products such as autographed guitars and fake perfume, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Swift, who is currently on her 1989 World Tour, is combating these sellers by teaming up with JD.com, a Chinese online sales company to create a fashion line that is specifically designed for the Chinese market.
The line will be available next month on JD.com, and according to the New York Daily News, will be high-quality and feature dresses, sweatshirts and tops. Swift created the line with Heritage66, which focuses on American musicians looking to expand their reach in China.
JD.com will be China’s first authorized seller of Taylor Swift merchandise through its platform, “U.S. mail,” in which Chinese customers will be able to buy goods from American brands.
