Alessia Cara took on Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" during a stop at BBC Radio 1 on Wednesday. Turns out that Swift herself is a major fan of Cara and of her cover.
Swift took to her Twitter account to compliment Cara. She said that Cara was "AMAZING" an that she loved the performance. Cara took on the recent version of "Bad Blood" which also featured Kendrick Lamar on the remix.
Swift's reaction left Cara speechless.
Cara also performed a stripped down version of her current hit "Here." With the recent boost in popularity online, Cara's single "Here" has also seen an increase in streams and downloads, Billboard reported.
Nine months ago Swift also played the BBC Radio 1 lounge and performed a unique cover of Vane Joy's "Riptide." Joy is currently on the 1989 world tour opening for Swift with Shawn Mendes.
Swift has had a busy week, 1989 has become the fastest-selling album of the decade and has reached over $5 million in sales. 1989 has also spent 36 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Top 10 charts.
