Knight of Cups, the new film from director Terrence Malick, finally has a release date. The movie, which played at the Berlin International Film Festival in February, stars Christian Bale and Natalie Portman.

The movie was acquired by Broad Green Pictures, a new studio led by entrepreneurs Gabriel and Daniel Hammond. According to TheWrap, they have scheduled the release of the film for March 4, 2016.

That pretty much seals the movie’s fate, especially after it received mixed reviews following the Berlin screening. Just like Malick’s previous star-studded film, To The Wonder with Ben Affleck and Rachel McAdams, Knight of Cups will likely not get a wide release.

Bale plays Rick, an uninspired screenwriter whose brother has just died. His other brother is also out of luck. So, Rick decides to go head first into the party scene and meets women who know himself better than he does. Cate Blanchett also stars in the film.

Malick, whose other films include The Tree of Life, Days of Heaven and The Thin Red Line, also has another completed film in the can. One thought to be called Weightless, the Ryan Gosling-starring movie is also being handled by Broad Green, notes Indiewire. The director also produced a documentary called Voyage of Time that Broad Green will release... eventually.

In addition to the Malick film, Broad Green announced that I smile Back with Sarah Silverman will be released on Oct. 23, reports TheWrap. The Dark Horse with cliff Curtis and James Rolleston will be out on Dec. 11.
