Abel Tesfaye used to avoid any media attention, but he is becoming one of the biggest male pop stars in the country.
Better known as The Weeknd, the singer just released the music video for "Can't Feel My Face" where he literally goes up in flames.
The video arrived on Apple Music's Connect, where Tesfaye performs his summer hit single.
As of Tuesday, "Can't Feel My Face" was at at No.2 on the Billboard Hot 100. It's the latest from The Weeknd's new songs. Previous hits from the past year include Fifty Shades of Grey's "Earned It", "The Hills", and a duet with Ariana Grande, "Love Me Harder."
In other news, Tom Cruise killed on the Jim Fallon show performing The Weeknd's single. Cruise stepped up his game by performing "I Can't Feel My Face" in a lip sync battle on the show.
The Weeknd will release his second studio LP, The Beauty Behind the Madness August 28. His next performance will be at Lollapalooza this weekend in Chicago. The Weeknd will also play during the Budweiser Made in America Festival over Labor Day weekend in Philadelphia.
