Men famous for their bodies are hitting up the big screen this 4th of July weekend. In this week’s new releases, Arnold is back in a follow-up film and Channing Tatum and Joe Manganiello strut their stuff again in a stripping sequel.
On the verge of hanging up their G-strings, the Kings of Tampa head to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for one last hurrah in Magic Mike XXL. As they make their way to a stripper convention, they learn new skills and entertain some ladies along the way. Channing Tatum, Amber Heard, Adam Rodriguez, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Kevin Nash, Gabriel Iglesias, Jada Pinkett Smith, Andie MacDowell, Elizabeth Banks, Donald Glover and Michael Strahan star in the comedic drama. The one hour and fifty-five minute film is rated R for sex, language, nudity and drugs.

Sergeant Kyle Reese is sent to the past to keep the future intact in Terminator Genisys. He travels back in time to save Sarah Connor and stop Judgment Day from occurring. During his journey, he forms unexpected alliances while facing new enemies. The PG-13 sci-fi adventure stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney and J.K. Simmons. The film is playing in conventional, 3D and IMAX 3D theaters for two hours and six minutes.

A woman in the midst of a divorce falls for a musician in Jackie & Ryan. The two form a bond as they both face struggles in their personal lives. The PG-13 romantic drama stars Katherine Heigl and Ben Barnes. It’s playing in limited theaters for one hour and twenty-six minutes.

Faith bonds two men and helps them get through the hardships of the Vietnam War in Faith of Our Fathers. Twenty-five years and many letters later, their sons meet in Washington DC at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. The PG-13 drama stars Stephen Baldwin, Kevin Downes, David A.R. White, Candace Cameron, Candace Cameron Bure, Si Robertson and Rebecca St. James. The limited released film runs for one hour and thirty-six minutes.

A former couple reconnects in In Stereo. Despite going their separate ways, the two come to realize that they are meant to be together, but try to find a way to not actually get back into a relationship. The unrated comedic drama is playing in limited theaters for one hour and thirty-seven minutes.

A couple of sequels made their way into theaters this week, but next week it’s a prequel that’s sure to get audiences into their seats. Minions heads into theaters on July 10.
