Universal Studio's famous Halloween Horror Nights will be adding a brand new attraction this year based on one of this decade's scariest film franchises.
The official Halloween Horror Nights YouTube Channel has released this video announcing an Insidious maze for this fall's event.
According to the press release from Universal, the maze will feature scenes from all three Insidious movies and will transport you into the world of the Further. The attraction will feature characters from the movie like the Woman in Black and the Red-Faced Demon.
Halloween Horror Nights is Universal Studio's yearly event in their Orlando theme park. During this time, the park features haunted house and "scare zones," usually based on popular horror films. In prior years, movies that have come to the park have included Halloween, The Purge, Evil Dead and The Cabin in the Woods, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Insidious definitely makes sense as an addition to Halloween Horror Nights, given how large sections of the movie feature the characters walking through a creepy environment as things pop out at them. The movies have also been extremely successful at the box office, with the most recent film grossing nearly $100 million according to Box Office Mojo.
Halloween Horror Nights 2015 will run this fall on select nights from September 18th through November 1st, 2015.
