Actress Vanessa Williams had a Fourth of July wedding after marrying fiancé Jim Skrip.
Williams teased that something was going on when she posted on her Twitter page that she was taking a “road trip.”
A rep for the actress confirmed the wedding news to E! News.
The Ugly Betty actress has been open about past struggles in her life, including molestation when she was younger. Now it looks like she is in a good place.
People reported the engagement news came during an appearance on The Queen Latifah show in September. Williams told the host “I got engaged. I have had a lot of good things happen…I just got engaged a couple of weeks ago. It has been a lof ot blessings.”
Williams met her beau on a trip to Egypt and at the time, she hadn’t been expecting to find love or anything like that.
She was previously married twice, first to Ramon Hervey II and then Rick Fox, and has four children.
