There are so many unidentified flying objects sightings reported at Cardiff Airport in Wales that the government decided to get creative when answering a question posed by a local politician. Rather than answering in English or Welsh, a government spokesman responded in Klingon, the fictional Star Trek language.

The BBC reports that Shadow Health Minister Darren Millar just asked the government about funding research into UFO sightings. He asked three questions to science and transport minister Edwina Hart about the sightings in the country.

Someone in Cardiff had too much time on their hands, so they translated “The minister will reply in due course. However this is a non-devolved matter” into Klingon. Therefore, the response read “jang vIDa je due luq. ach ghotvam'e' QI'yaH devolve qaS.”

When asked about the response he received, Millar took it as an opportunity to take a dig at the other political party. “I've always suspected that Labour ministers came from another planet. This response confirms it,” he told the BBC.

It turns out that there are many reports of UFO sightings in Wales. In October 2014, WalesOnline reported that there had been 120 sightings reported since 2000. Many of the reports include seeing a “very bright object above the sun.”

They just better make sure that the object isn’t a Klingon Bird of Prey.
