Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is absolutely packed with characters, so it's natural to be worried some of them might be sidelined a bit, but Wonder Woman fans shouldn't have to worry about that according to Zack Snyder.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Zack Snyder says that Wonder Woman is a "super important" part of the plot of Batman v. Superman, helping set up the future of the franchise.

"In a lot of ways, she’s the gateway drug to
the rest of the
Justice League," he said.

Along with the new photo of the cast which places Wonder Woman front and center, it's great to see that the character will actually have a lot to do in the upcoming film.

Gal Godot told Entertainment Weekly that it's impossible not to be a little nervous about the film given people's expectations for the character. She also noted that she's loved learning to do swordplay, so it sounds like Wonder Woman is going to have plenty of awesome action moments in the film.

In addition to Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, Batman v. Superman will also feature Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and The Flash (Ezra Miller). It hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
