A new television spot for Star Wars: The Force Awakens has hit the web, although it doesn’t necessarily mean we will start seeing the film advertised on TV in the U.S. just yet. Featuring Korean subtitles, the TV spot does include new footage from the film.
It’s only 30 seconds and a good chunk of it is just stuff from the previous trailers. However, there is a new wide shot of someone (likely Domhnall Gleeson’s character) addressing a massive group of First Order stormtroopers. In another blink-and-you’ll-miss-it shot, two TIE fighters swoop towards the screen.
Disney is likely to show more footage at the D23 expo in Anaheim this weekend. There was no new trailer at last month’s San Diego Comic Con, although there was a really cool behind-the-scenes video shown.
The Force Awakens was directed by J.J. Abrams and stars Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac and Daisy Ridley. It hits theaters on Dec. 18.
