Wubba lubba dub dub! Rick and Morty, arguably the best animated show on the air right now, has just been renewed for a third season by Adult Swim.

News of the series' renewal was reported today by Deadline. The animated comedy is only three episodes into Season 2, but its ratings have been solid enough to justify ordering more already.

“It’s an honor to see Rick and Morty join the exclusive club of shows over nineteen episodes,” creator Dan Harmon joked in response to the news according to Den of Geek.

Rick and Morty's Season 2 premiere ranked No. 1 among all key adults and men on July 26, and it was up significantly from Season 1. The show also saw a 27% increase in viewership between its first and second episode this season. That's pretty impressive, especially considering the first two episodes of Season 2 leaked online a full month in advance.

Rick and Morty was created by Community's Dan Harmon and follows an unstable old man, Rick, and his grandson, Morty, as they go on increasingly insane and dangerous adventures throughout space. It stars Justin Roiland, Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammer and Sarah Chalke and airs Sundays at 11:30 on Adult Swim.
