Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Hard Cider has announced a recall of select cases on Wednesday via the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
In a release, they said some bottles are subject to refermentation, which could cause some bottles to overflow when opened due to increased levels of carbonation.
According to Yahoo, to check if a case of Angry Orchards are part of this recall, check the “Freshness Matters” code on the side of the bottle. If June 2016 1665C followed by numbers ranging from 0001 to 0700, or June 2016 1805C followed by numbers that range from 0001 to 0545 are part of it.
Those who own cases or individual bottles that are part of this recall will be refunded in full by Angry Orchard.
There were two batches that are subject to refermentation, made on June 15 and June 29, WFTS reports.
If consumed, the recalled bottles of hard cider pose no risk to customers.
