Bon Jovi rescheduled a Vancouver show at a brand new venue. The rock 'n' roll legend didn't want to disappoint his fans because he considers Vancouver to be a city that he has called home for many years. The band recorded three albums in Vancouver from 1986 to 1992.

The band took the stage on Saturday night at Rogers Arena after a previously schedule show had been cancelled because of complications with promoters. The original concert was supposed to take place in Stanley Park, Washington Post reported.

Jovi himself had to work on rescheduling the show after complications with Paper Rain Performances. The "Livin' On A Prayer" singer explained that he felt it was important to honor the show with fans. “Integrity matters. If you give your word to somebody I think you should do the very best you can to follow through on that word,” said Jovi.

“It took our efforts to make this happen. And there was no way I wasn’t going to make it happen."

This week also marked Bon Jovi leaving Mercury Records after 32 years of working together, Billboard added.
