Friday afternoon was quite the day for Disney Animation and Pixar at D23 Expo in Anaheim, California. During the Disney/Pixar Animation Panel several films and their directors, actors and other talent were present to provide guests of the expo a first look at some of their upcoming works and surprises.
One of the first films talked about was the 2016 film Zootopia directed by Byron Howard (Tangled) and Rich Moore (Wreck-It-Ralph). During the panel special guest, via video feed, grammy-pop star Shakira, told the audience that she would be lending her voice to one of the film’s main characters named Gazelle, who is in fact an actual Gazelle.
Another surprise guest who actually appeared at the convention was Once Upon A Time’s Ginnifer Goodwin who will be voicing a rabbit police officer named Judy.
Guests of the panel were able to see some exclusive scenes from the film and also were able to hear Shakira’s song for the film “Try Everything,” which was written by singer-songwriter Sia.

The upcoming years of Disney Animation and Pixar are going to be filled with what are sure to be instant classics, and the future has never looked brighter for the Disney company and its loyal fans.
