Disney’s D23 convention for all things Disney kicked off today in Anaheim and started with a couple of cool bits of news from Pixar... at least if you enjoy having Pixar spend its time on more sequels instead of original ideas. The studio unveiled posters for Incredibles 2, Cars 3 and Toy Story 4.

None of this is actually “new” news, but it does prove that the studio is serious about the sequels. Cars 3 and Incredibles 2 were both announced in March 2014 and Toy Story 4 was announced in November.

Brad Bird, who directed the original Incredibles, provided a few updates on the sequel while promoting Tomorrowland earlier this year.

“There are new ideas I have, and I think there are enough of those together to make an interesting movie,” Bird told Collider in May. He later added that it will likely be his next film.

As for Toy Story 4, John Lasseter revealed earlier today that the movie will be a love story between Woody and Bo Peep.

There’s still few details on Cars 3 and Lasseter will have to do a lot to prove that we even need a third Cars movie. Otherwise, it looks like a cash grab.

Pixar’s next film is The Good Dinosaur, which hits theaters on Nov. 25. Finding Dory, the sequel to Finding Nemo, will be out in June 2016. A poster for that film was also shown at D23.

All these sequels mean one thing: we need to cherish Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur because we have no idea when the next new Pixar idea will hit the big screen.
