Donald Trump has a new controversy and, just like some of his other head-scratching comments, this one is also costing him. His new quest to find ways to insult Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly has lead to his invitation to a conservative forum being rescinded.

Trump has blasted Kelly’s performance a moderator of Thursday night’s first Republican presidential debate ahead of the 2016 election. The billionaire was particularly annoyed by her question about his insulting comments about women on Twitter.

The former Celebrity Apprentice host was critical of Kelly on Twitter the second the debate ended and continued criticizing her during interviews on Friday. In one with CNN, he suggested that Kelly was out for blood.

“You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes,” Trump told Don Lemon. “Blood coming out of her whatever.”

RedState Gathering organizer Erik Erickson wrote that these comments have crossed the lines of decency, so he pulled Trump’s invitation to tonight’s forum.

“His comment was inappropriate. It is unfortunate to have to disinvite him. But I just don’t want someone on stage who gets a hostile question from a lady and his first inclination is to imply it was hormonal. It just was wrong,” Erickson wrote. “I have invited Megyn Kelly to attend in Donald Trump’s place tomorrow night.”

This morning Trump quickly took to Twitter to blast “politically correct fools” and insisted that he meant to say that Kelly had “blood coming out of her wherever” instead of “whatever.”

The RedState Gathering will still feature other Republican candidates, including Scott Walker, Marco Rubio, Carly Fiorina, Mike Huckabee, Chris Christie and Jeb Bush.
