Female McDonald's employee in Taiwan gains worldwide attention

A Taiwanese McDonald’s employee named Wei Han Xu is getting a lot of attention for her good looks, even getting dubbed the McDonald’s Goddess.

Xu was first brought to some of our attention in June by blogger Rain Dog, who posted photos of her wearing far from traditional McDonald’s work attire.

She often dresses up for the job, which she’s had for the past five years. Xu has since become an internet sensation and a hit with men in Taiwan, who flock to her McDonald’s location to see her.

Managers in Taiwan often encourage their female employees to dress as maids, cheerleaders and sailors, Daily News reports.

She has appeared on game shows and has been interviewed quite a bit since becoming famous and she has taken to Facebook to thank her newfound fans.

“In these few days, I received a lot of message from people that had different backgrounds. I was shocked because in my point of view it is just an old news In Taiwan,” she wrote. “I would like to say thank you to all the attentions, thank you so much to concern about me.”
