When two Disney worlds collide it can be a lot to take in at once, so brace yourselves. Disney fans are always pondering ways their favorite films are connected, and now we know which classic film Frozen overlaps with: Tarzan.

Chris Buck, who directed both films, spoke on Sunday at a special screening of the Walt Disney Animation Studios Shorts Collection and expanded on his belief that Tarzan is Elsa and Anna’s younger brother, which he first revealed during a Reddit AMA last year.

He said at the time that they didn’t die at sea, instead they got shipwrecked on an island and their mom gave birth while there – ring a bell?

Buck has confirmed this theory, recalling a brainstorming session he had with co-director Jennifer Lee, “I said, ‘Of course Anna and Elsa’s parents didn’t die,'” he said.

“Yes, there was a shipwreck, but they were at sea a little bit longer than we think they were because the mother was pregnant, and she gave birth on the boat, to a little boy,” he told MTV News. “They get shipwrecked, and somehow they really washed way far away from the Scandinavian waters, and they end up in the jungle. They end up building a tree house and a leopard kills them, so their baby boy is raised by gorillas.”

“So in my little head, Anna and Elsa’s brother is Tarzan — but on the other side of that island are surfing penguins, to tie in a non-Disney movie, Surf’s Up. That’s my fun little world.”

Of course, Buck stressed these are just his own beliefs and everyone can have their own theory. “Whatever people want to believe, go for it," he said. "That's the spirit of Disney."
