Haley Bennett has entered into negotiations to join Emily Blunt and Rebecca Ferguson in the upcoming Along For The Ride.

Bennett is known for her work on The Equalizer and The Magnificent Seven.

The Wrap reported that Tate Taylor, The Help, is directing the film and the script is being written by Erin Cressida Wilson, based off the bestselling novel Paula Hawkins. Marc Platt will be producing the movie.

The novel has sold over 2 million copies and spent 18 weeks on the top of the New York Times Best Seller list.

Ride focuses on a young woman, Rachel, who fantasizes during her commute while on the train. She passes the same house everyday and imagines the life of the couple that lives inside. While on her daily route, she sees something unbelievable and shocking. The mystery unfolds from that moment on.

As previously reported, Blunt will be playing the role of Rachel.
