Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, the new film set in the Harry Potter universe, started principal photography today in England. The movie won’t be out until late next year, so it could be awhile before we see official photos from the set.

Warner Bros. said today that filming started at Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden, with David Yates directing. Yates helmed the last four Harry Potter films and is collaborating with several other Potter vets, including editor Mark Day, production designer Stuart Craig and visual effects supervisors Tim Burke and Christian Manz.

Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne stars as Newt Scamander, a magizoologist who travels to New York to document magical creatures in the U.S., years before Harry Potter came around.

Other members of the cast include Katherine Waterston as Tina; Alison Sudol as Tina’s sister Queenie; Dan Folger as Jacob; Ezra Miller as Credence; Samantha Morton as Mary Lou; Jenn Murray as Chastity; and Colin Farrell as Graves. Young newcomer Faith Wood-Blagrove is playing Modesty.

The script is being written by Potter author J.K. Rowling and is her first original screenplay. The producers are David Heyman, Rowling, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram.

Fantastic Beasts hits theaters on Nov. 18, 2016 in 3D and in IMAX. However, you can see Redmayne in Tom Hooper’s The Danish Girl this November.
