As Janet Jackson finishes putting together last-minute preparations for her upcoming album and world tour, she took to social media to tease fans with a snippet of some new music.
The R&B songstress posted the lyrics to "The Great Forever" on Instagram this morning in addition to a 24-second clip of the brand new song on Twitter.
"The Great Forever" — written by Jackson, James "Jimmy Jam" Harris III and Terry Lewis — is the second song that we've heard from Unbreakable so far, the first being the J. Cole-assisted first single "No Sleeep."
"Living my life / The way that I hope / Is leading me to / The great forever," Jackson sings during the chorus. "Forever I will choose / Watch what I'm doing / Watch where I'm going / Trying to get to / The great forever / Forever is the truth."
Unbreakable, Jackson's 11th studio album, will be released October 2.
