Jared Fogle, the former Subway spokesman, was in an Indianapolis federal courtroom this morning to plead guilty to charges of distributing and receiving child pornography and engaging in illegal sexual activities with minors. Since news broke of the plea deal, Subway has completely ended its relationship with Fogle.

Local Indianapolis news outlets began reporting late Tuesday that Fogle had reached a plea deal with the U.S. Attorney’s office following the July 7 raid of his Zionsville, Indiana home. That raid followed the arrest of Russell Taylor, a former executive director of Fogle’s foundation. Taylor was charged with producing and possessing child pornography.

According to the Indianapolis Star, the plea agreement revealed that Fogle was charged with child pornography possession, as well as engaging in “unlawful commercial sexual acts with minors.” It also claims that he received child pornography from Taylor “multiple times” between 2011 and 2015.

The plea deal also revealed that Fogle went to New York to have sex with at least two minors several times between 2010 and 2013. Fogle has agreed to pay these victims $100,000 each as part of the agreement.

Taylor, who was fired after his arrest, allegedly produced child pornography that featured children as young as 9 years old while he was still working at Fogle’s foundation, according to court documents. According to Tim Evans of the Indy Star, the court documents show that Fogle did obtain images from Taylor.

Fogle agreed to spend at least five years in prison, while prosecutors agreed to seek no less than 12 and half years.

Subway tweeted Tuesday night that it has ended their relationship with Fogle.
