Jared Fogle's wife files for divorce

Jared Fogle's wife announced that she is filing for divorce from her husband.

Katie Fogle released a press release via her attorney, stating that she is "extremely shocked and disappointed by the recent developments involving Jared."

As we reported earlier today, the former Subway spokesman appeared in court to plead guilty to the child pornography charges against him. The charges included distributing and receiving child pornography and engaging in illegal sexual activity with minors.

"I am in the process of seeking a dissolution of the marriage," Katie Fogle said. "My focus is exclusively on the well-being of my children."

The Fogles have two children together.

"Neither I nor my family will have any further comment on the matter," Katie added. "I appreciate respect for my family's privacy during this difficult time."

Subway tweeted yesterday that they have ended their relationship with Fogle.
