Joe Brown, the former star of court TV show Judge Joe Brown, will be spending the next few days in jail. Over a year after being arrested for contempt of court, he is finally spending his five days behind bars.

TMZ reported today that Brown is now behind bars for an incident that happened in March 2014.

While working as a lawyer in a child support case in Memphis, Brown got into a loud argument with a court clerk after discovering that there was no record of the case.

According to Fox News, Magistrate Judge Harold Horne had sentenced to him to just a day in prison, but the sentence was extended after he got into his own argument with Brown.

After the incident, Brown did spend a few hours in jail, which he claimed “reenergized” him. We wonder if he will feel the same about his current time in jail.

Judge Joe Brown was a syndicated series that was cancelled in 2013. It premiered in 1997.
