Kelly Clarkson is currently on tour promoting her latest album Piece By Piece but it's her cover songs that are making headlines day after day. Clarkson continues her pattern of taking audience requests via Twitter and performed "Purple Rain" by Prince during her St. Paul, Minnesota concert.

Clarkson changed the classic song slightly and added in her own unique style. She told the audience that she was a little nervous considering how iconic this song is. "This is such a great classic song from someone from here. This is ‘Purple Rain,’ y’all...No pressure!” The audience went wild with applause.
"Purple Rain" continues Clarkson's domination of cover songs this summer. She has already taken on Taylor Swift, Tove Lo, Miley Cyrus, Nick Jonas and *NSYNC.
Earlier this summer Clarkson explained that with this tour she wanted more fan interaction and to do something different. “We do a fan request every show, letting someone in the audience pick a song for us to cover. It’s a lot of fun for me and the band because the shows can become monotonous, and this keeps us on our toes," explained Clarkson to Entertainment Weekly.
What will Clarkson take on next?
