Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner are being sued by twelve families in the Marina Del Rey, Calif. area over the fireworks show they put on for James Harden’s birthday party last week.
Each homeowner will ask the Kardashians for $7,500 in small claims court, the maximum amount they can sue for, for waking them up at midnight Tuesday night/Wednesday morning.
The fireworks went off as part of the yacht party Kardashian threw for her new boyfriend. Frozen star, Josh Gad, was one of those neighbors who got woken up, tweeting, “To whomever planned fireworks at midnight on a Tues thank u. Sincerely parents of 2 children who just woke up thinking we were being shelled.”
According to TMZ, the homeowners in the area are claiming emotional distress, with one saying her MS has worsened since hearing the fireworks and another saying her child went crazy.
They chose small claims court so that they can confront Khloe and her momager, in order to tell them to their faces how selfish and rude they thought setting off fireworks was.
