Trainor was scheduled to perform on August 22 at the fair and over 8,000 tickets had already been sold, The Miami Herald reported.

Mindy Williamson, a spokeswoman for the fair explained that they are looking into replacements for Trainior. "We are looking at alternatives and we don't know what those are going to be yet," said Williamson. Carrie Underwood, Def Leppard and Reba McEntire are all scheduled to perform during the fair.

This news comes after Trainor announced that she would have to cancel the remainder of her
M Train tour.

The "All About That Bass" singer took to Instagram and thanked her fans for their ongoing support and expressed that she is deeply saddened by having to cancel her tour. "I am devastated, scared, and so sorry. I was being careful and taking precautions, but I have hemorrhaged my vocal cord again. I got bronchitis and have been coughing a lot & that pushed it over the edge," said Trainor.

Trainor had recently underwent treatment for a vocal chord hemorrhage last month.
