Nicki Minaj is the latest celebrity to be waxed.
A new wax figure of the rapper was unveiled at Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas on Tuesday, featuring Minaj in one of her most famous music videos.
Minaj’s wax counterpart can be seen rocking one of the seductive outfits Minaj wore in the video for her hit single “Anaconda.” The statue, which includes a detailed jungle background, also imitates the provocative pose Minaj and looks like a spitting image of the rapper.
Cole Kouvaris, Madame Tussauds Las Vegas’s marketing manager, expressed how excited the museum is to welcome Minaj’s wax figure, notes E! News.
“Guests have been consistently asking us to make her figure,” Kouvaris explained. “As her music continues to grow in popularity, so does her larger-than-life persona and we wanted to capture that essence by creating the type of Madame Tussauds figure guests will find only in a city like Las Vegas.”
Minaj took to Instagram to celebrate her new wax figure. She made sure to take pictures of her waxy doppelgänger from multiple angles to show off every side of her wax figure.
The “Anaconda” singer also shared the original image that the artists used to create her statue.
