In between shows on The Pinkprint Tour, Nicki Minaj stopped at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia on Thursday to visit some of her fans.

One of the children that Minaj visited was Zion Harvey, an 8-year-old boy who became the first child to ever receive a bilateral hand transplant, CNN reported. The rapper posed for a photograph with Zion, whose hands are still wrapped in bandages following last month's major surgery. According to People, Harvey will be in the hospital for several more weeks as he goes through hand therapy at an inpatient rehabilitation center.

Minaj shared photographs on her Instagram page with a handful of the other children that she visited.

"Visited the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia today with Ryan Seacrest studios," the "Anaconda" rapper wrote. "If you need something to do in your spare time, try this. I left feeling so inspired by these incredibly strong, beautiful, dynamic children. Pray for them, you guys. They would've melted your heart."
