Passengers on a roller coaster at Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, Pennsylvania, had to be evacuated off the ride after it got stuck on Monday afternoon.

Lehighvalleylive.com noted that a spokeswoman for the park said all riders were evacuated off the Talon coaster after a red warning light came on and it stopped and on the lift tow of the first hill.

"The ride functioned just as it's meant to," she said. "It saw something that it didn't like and stopped them on the lift hill, as it's protocol to do."

The passengers walked off the ride and no injuries were reported.

Witnesses at the amusement park took video documenting the moment that the riders were escorted off the coaster.

The Talon, which opened in 2001, is the tallest and longest inverted roller coaster in the Northeast standing at 135 feet. It has a vertical drop of 120 feet, a vertical loop of 98 feet and turns riders upside down four times.
