We often hear about singers canceling or postponing their tours, but Stevie Wonder is doing the opposite for his fans. He’s extending his Songs In The Key Of Live Performance tour for the second time.
Wonder added 20 more dates to the North American leg of the tour. He first extended the tour in March after kicking it off last year. The tour will end in the same place it started - New York’s Madison Square Garden - on Nov. 24.
Entertainment Weekly reports the new dates start on Sept. 30 in Montreal. The tour features Wonder performing his 1976 double-LP Songs in the Key of Life.
ABC News reports he’s also performing free pop-up concerts in Washington, Philadelphia and New York.
Wonder welcomed his ninth child in Dec. 2014, a daughter named Nia with longtime girlfriend Tomeeka Robyn Bracy. Besides Nia, his children reportedly range in age from 10 to 40 years old.
